Flag Teams
Because WYF Flag is the first in the league, there are currently no other teams to play, therefore we are dividing our players into 8 teams, each with about 10-11 players per team.
Recent Flag Football Division News
WYF is again very sad to announce another loss in our football family. Jason Varao, father of Chris who played for our Junior Division Bombers team this year unfortunately passed away Tuesday. Jason was a big advocate for Westfield Youth Football and coached the PeeWee division a few years back. He attended all the games and showed his support for not only Chris but the league for many years.
Calling hours for Jason will be on Saturday, December 10th from 4-7pm at Firtion-Adams Funeral service on 76 Broad Street in Westfield. We WYF would again like to go in as a league and a support group for Chris who certainly is going through a very sad time in his life. We would ask our Junior Division teammates, as well as parents to be in attendance for Chris, and any other parent or player within WYF who would like to show their support for one of our own. We ask that all players in attendance please wear their game jersey, with a shirt and tie underneath. We will meet outside the Funeral Home at 4:45 to arrange lineups for our procession.
Given the situation and so close to the holidays, Chris and his family will need support from many and we should all do our best to be there for him at this time.
