Fundraiser Coordinator
WFYC is a non-profit organization, with a 501c3 status. Our organization, which is run entirely by volunteers, works with the children of Westfield, Southwick and the surrounding Hill Towns and has been doing so since 1966. Year in and year out we take great pride in our efforts to teach our players and cheerleaders athletic skill, sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and respect for themselves as well as others.
Depending on the season, our annual operating budget can exceed $35,000 and includes:
League insurance
League fees
Field rental
officials fees
Equipment purchases and maintenance
Uniforms
Annual revenues fluctuate from year to year depending on player/cheerleader registrations. We rely heavily on both our fundraisers and contributions from our area businesses to help generate extra income to offset some of our operating expenses.
