Westfield Youth Football is a non-profit organization in the city of Westfield with a 501(C)3 status. We work with the children of Westfield, Southwick, and the surrounding hill towns. We have been doing so, proudly since 1966. Year in, and year out, we take great pride in our efforts to teach our players athletic skill, sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and respect for not only themselves, but others as well.
Our annual operating budget exceeds $60,000, with limited revenues of approximately $35,000 from player registration fees. With our funds stretched to the limit, we rely heavily on fundraising and local business contributions to generate the extra $25,000 each year to make this program available to our area youth. Some of our annual fixed expenses include: league insurance, league fees, field rental fees for practices and home games, game official's fees, equipment purchases, helmet safety inspections, and uniform purchases - all of which are not only costly, but required.
We are reaching out to our area businesses to help support our organization in our annual Golf tournament. The Tournament will be held at East Mountain Country Club on Saturday, June 12th. This will be a scramble style tournament.
